    The MGM Grand hotel was excellent in that it was very clean and well-organized. Check-in was easy (but pricey). Expect to pay a resort fee in addition to the hotel rate. Everything is more expensive in Vegas.

    The first room was small and moldy smelling. Ended up paying more to move to a room that had remodeled rooms that was better.

    My room was filthy. Dust all over the windowsill, trash and food leftovers on dresser, long dark hairs in shower and on bathroom floor.

    Service at the MGM is top notch. Staff is friendly and helpful and there's lots of them. Our room was perfect. There's no coffee pot in the room so be prepared to run to Starbucks in the Lobby. The pool area is amazing and well maintained. We won't stay anywhere else. Access to the monorail is a bonus.
