Is it a scam?
The hotel receptionist was smiling and friendly. The room is very small without a single chair. The wobbly small cabinet takes up space and is very impractical. The double bed is on the narrow side. There is a nice view from the balcony to the square. You can nicely observe the chaotic traffic from there. The breakfast is very modest. We had booked the room for four nights. On the second day, we were informed that our room is going under renovation and we will be provided with another room from a nearby hotel owned by the same owner. We went to see the windowless room. We chose a room with a window, but its glass is painted white, so you can only see outside by opening the window. However, the room is of normal size and has two armchairs and a small table. The new room is cheaper than the previous one. They compensated for the price difference. When we passed by the originally booked hotel, we saw residents there. The renovation seemed to be just a scam.
