    Booking.com failed to notify the hotel of my booking, so no room available when I reached the hotel

    My booked room was not available. The hotel staff told me that they did not receive the notification from Booking.com. I had received a confirmation from the company and consequently made a long and expensive trip to the hotel to no avail. Booking.com should compensate me for this.
