Amazing except for the bad odor in our rooms.

Wonderful stay in a great location, with a lovely atmosphere and beautiful interior. The breakfast in the garden was a real highlight, and the staff were polite, welcoming, and attentive. Having a private deck where you can take a water taxi adds to the unique Venetian experience and makes the stay feel truly special.

A truly exceptional hotel in Venice. The interiors are beautiful, distinctive, and full of character, making the Metropole feel like much more than just a place to stay. I would definitely recommend choosing a room overlooking the canal — the view adds enormously to the whole Venetian experience. What really sets the hotel apart, however, is the service. The concierge team deserves a special mention: everything was handled flawlessly and at the highest possible level, from excellent recommendations and restaurant arrangements to organizing private water taxis whenever we needed them. Every request was dealt with quickly, professionally, and with genuine attention to detail. Even the smaller touches, such as arranging champagne in the room, were executed perfectly. This is the kind of service that makes a great hotel memorable. An outstanding stay from beginning to end, and a hotel we would gladly return to.
