Room was really good bed and overall room was clean. Great location we came in for the AFL game and made it on time. Hotel was close to SCG. Easy to get around and very close to kings cross which we liked.

Great convenient location to eateries in Darlinghurst Rd and Victoria St. Unfortunately, the local City Council chose to undertake major footpath upgrades in front of the Kirketon, with Very little to No prior warnings,,,, which made access to and from the Hotel, a navigational planning headache. The Hotel Staff were very apologetic and embarrassed at the lack of Council notice and were always alert to the comings and goings of their guests. Some of which had appointments at the St.Vincents Hospital, a very short distance from Kirketon. Overall, (aside from the footpath upgrade works), my stay was comfortable. Thankfully, I am able bodied and could negotiate the construction works with care. The front of house staff, manager and cleaning staff were wonderful to speak with and help were they could.
