Outstanding hotel!

A fantastic hotel in every respect. The staff are incredibly well trained, professional and polite. I honestly cannot fault this hotel in any respect. The apartments are well equipped and the gym is really good.

A true gem in Johannesburg

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, especially this being in Johannesburg, South Africa. From the helpful friendly door men checking in to front of house staff, waiters, housekeeping, and then off course to the manager Simolo. Simolo is definitely one of a kind. He knows and sees everything happening around in the hotel and keeps his finger on it. A special thanks to Simolo for assisting and making our stay an unbelievable experience. This hotel compares definitely with some of the top-class hotels around the world if not better! My 3-day Jhb trip turned into a two weeks stay, this is how much I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. Thank you, I will definitely be back. Love Adele

executive stay

If you want to feel like a celebrity, spend some time at this hotel and especially the vista suite. Having traveled most parts of the world, I can’t help but feel impressed every time. Suite 306 offers you a penthouse feel with all the luxury. Jacuzzi, private pool, sizable rooms, and the pillows and linen you want to relax in. Highly recommended

Hotel vs Apartment

We decided to stay on the apartments side as we were there for business and were not looking for anything fancy. The apartments very much mimic the hotel just there are no views and it is a bit more noisy (less soundproofing & acoustics). Check-in was a mess as hotel & apartment management is different. Nonetheless, you get what you pay for.

Awesome Apartment

We had an amazing stay in a beautiful and luxurious apartment with all the luxuries one could hope for. The apartment had a comfy bed, large TV, spacious bathroom, and well-equipped kitchen. The apartment has good internet although our specific room had problems we were able to connect to a neighboring room which worked well. We had a wifi extender with us which helped a lot. The apartments have access to the hotel which has two amazing pools, gym, and an indoor pool at the spa. We also had access to go for a walk on the golf course.

Excellent!

Just stayed for 6 nights at the HES, and can’t fault the stay. Whilst the rooms aren’t part of the main hotel, you still get treated as if you were staying in the main building. Staff were excellent, from welcoming on arrival, the valet car service, cafe staff, housekeeping etc etc. I’ve stayed in many def catering units before, but this was better than ever. Rooms were serviced daily, and any queries with the front desk were taken care of immediately. I would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone, and would definitely return for another stay. Central location, and great sense of safety

Wonderful stay - except please check the aircons

Wonderful stay only barring the fact that the air conditioners were not at all effective! Granted we did not call anyone to repair as it was Christmas Eve however the rest was fantastic!!

Flawless

There’s nothing I can fault here! The hotel is extremely modern and clean (the executive suites are attached to the hotel, sharing the same facilities). The rooms were perfectly comfortable. The food is delicious, service is friendly and professional, and I took advantage of both the spa and the golf course. A wonderful stay, very hard to beat.
