Looks nice, but not a lotta noise.

While this hotel looks nice inside and out, it is in a terrible, noisy location. It is convenient to the train station, but the workers at the nearby restaurants are out on the streets at all hours making a ruckus. Also, although Geneva generally doesn't get too hot, it gets hot enough that you really need air conditioning, and without it you need to open the windows at night which makes dealing with the street noise worse. Pay a little extra and get a hotel closer to the lake.

Convenient-but very noisy

Convenient to central train station and walking distance to Lake Geneva and attractions. Breakfast- good. Only downside and it is a major- is the street noise- making it impossible to sleep. We stayed over Saturday night and the patrons from the bar across the street were very rowdy until after midnight. Even being exhausted after overnight flight did not help. Desk clerk said we were in the quiet section- yikes!!

Staff so friendly and helpful. Good location for the station. Room wasn't furnished in a modern fashion but I didn't mind that as it was comfortable. Could only get one TV station spoken in English so improved my French instead 😀

Nice hotel by the railway station

The hotel is very conveniently located one street from the railway station, with lots of shops and restaurants close by. It is also only a few blocks from the beautiful Lake Geneva. Hotel staff is friendly and efficient. Hotel amenities are adequate and provide a comfortable accommodation

I always use this hotel and I love it. Small, manageable and just all around great for a few nights. It is close to everything and most importantly close to the train station.

Overall Very Good!

Very nice hotel conveniently close to the train station and many restaurants, and not far from the waterfront and old town. Room was nicely appointed and clean but showed its age somewhat. No A/C would typically not have been an issue in October; however, warmer than usual temperatures required that windows remain open at night. Found out the area can be a bit noisy.
