Beautiful, comfortable, clean
Our room was absolutely gorgeous, as was the rest of the hotel. It was really clean, and the bed was fantastically comfortable. The bathroom was really nice, with flat surfaces throughout so there's no need to worry about ledges to climb over or trip on. There's also a good amount of shelving/storage in the bathroom which was nice and made getting ready much easier. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic, too. The room does have AC which worked very well. I was also happy that there was a small fridge in the room. The balcony in our room was also really nice, especially since it meant we could open up the door to outside to get some fresh air. Additionally, the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is significant construction going on on the street and tram tracks immediately in front of the hotel. You'll need to go a little further out of your way to catch the tram, but only by a couple minutes. Navigating the sidewalk along the street can be a little tricky. None of this is the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of especially for folks with mobility issues or other accessibility concerns! Getting into central Amsterdam is really easy even with the construction, with options for trams and trains within a short walk. There are also quite a few options for restaurants nearby, and a couple grocery stores. The neighborhood is also nice to walk around in.
