Good location, cold living areas, warm bedrooms, good facilities, not impressed by dirty bedding

First night I got eaten alive. I don't think the sheets had been changed. However, I got new bedding once I complained and was told by the maid that bedding gets done every 7-9 weeks, so I was disgusted with that. After the bedding was changed, I did not get bitten again.

I stayed for 4 nights, and it was helpful to have kitchen facilities in expensive Auckland. There were dishes, colanders, cutting boards, knives, dishcloths, salt, pepper, refrigerator, dishwasher, detergent, and most other things. There was also a washing machine, dryer, and I did laundry every day. Laundry detergent was provided daily as well. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the sea or Sky Tower. The location may not be as good as hotels in the city center, but it was enjoyable as a walk. The front desk staff was friendly.
