Fabulous location. Excellent staff. Great welcome. Well appointed and v spacious room that was clean in all the important places. A little grubby in places cleaned less frequently. Very good shared spaces. Restaurant 8.5/10. Some courses excellent but a chewy bit of tuna not good and it’s very noisy when busy. Would stay again.

The sea views are spectacular, from the room and from the common areas. Service is impeccable. The restaurant is one of the best in SA. This is a unique experience not to be missed. Best for one or two nights, not more.

Little piece of paradise

Nestled at the foot of Chapman's Peak, Tintswalo Atlantic isn't just a hotel; it's an experience that redefines coastal luxury. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking panorama of Hout Bay, captivates your senses. The waves crashing against the rocks below creates an immediate sense of tranquility and escape. What truly sets Tintswalo Atlantic apart is its unparalleled location. Each exquisitely designed suite, named after a famous island, boasts a private balcony that seems to hover directly above the churning Atlantic. The attention to detail extends far beyond the views. The interiors are a harmonious blend of sophisticated comfort and nautical charm, with plush furnishings, thoughtful amenities, and unique touches that reflect the character of each island inspiration. The service is impeccable – attentive yet unobtrusive, with a genuine warmth that makes you feel like a cherished guest rather than just a room number. At the Spa I experienced one of the best massages ever. Dining at Tintswalo is an event in itself. The cuisine is a celebration of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Tintswalo Atlantic is more than just a place to stay; it's a sanctuary for the soul and created an unforgettable escape that will linger long after we've left.

Relaxation haven…

Wonderful location, wonderful food, wonderful room…

Incredible hotel with world class views and great, friendly staff. Unforgettable trip.

Great staff and unbelievable views

Overall, lovely stay.

Off the charts!!!

Surely one of the best hotels in South Africa? Amazing service, friendliest staff, luxurious and spacious room, ridiculous views and delicious food.

Beautiful property in an amazing setting but service is chaotic and the hotel is not well run, which was disappointing for the price. The restaurant is well worth a visit and food and service there is very good.

Special place

Unbelievable stay. Very special location. Waves crashing at your feet. Wonderful staff. Impeccable restaurant.
