Home comforts on the beach

This place is right on Wailoaloa beach, you can stroll out directly onto the sand which is great and the water is warm! The staff were always really attentive here, and communicated quickly via Whatsapp, whenever we had an issue they fixed it really quickly. It's a major hotel so easy for pickups - and the bus to the Yasawa Flyer/ Port Denerau leaves from your doorstep. There is a nice place for a decent coffee nextdoor (7ml). I had to work one day during our stay so I appreciated the desk and reliable internet in the room with the beautiful view of the beach, ocean, palms etc. Another big benefit of this room was the washer/dryer - we'd been travelling for a while, and this allowed us to deal with our laundry when we needed it! The bed was comfy too. We walked five-ten minutes up to the nextdoor Crowne Plaza for dinner at one of their many restaurants most nights, rather than cook in - but you could cook in there if you wanted to save money, and there's also a supermarket really nearby for your shopping needs.

Comfortable hotel in pleasant location overlooking the sea, with very personable staff.

Pleasant location by the beach, with several restaurants and cafes around. 15 minutes by taxi to airport, or to town centre in the other direction. Room was very comfortable and the in-room laundry facility was very useful. The staff were very pleasant, Shaheena and her colleagues at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, and the porters also were kind and good-natured.
