Everyone is very friendly
Very clean establishment and exceptionally nice staff.
Before booking a hotel, I tend to use Google reviews more than Booking.com or Agoda, etc. (I hope this review helps those who are reading it. Hehe) After seeing some negative reviews on Google, most of the concerns I had did not actually happen. I visited the nearest hotel for an event at the Javits Center over the weekend, and the room was clean and had a good view. The exterior looked like a new building, and these days, the trend is to make new constructions or remodels with hardwood floors instead of carpets, and this place also follows that trend. It's nice and clean. The basic amenities provided are disposable cups and water in the lobby, a coffee machine and iron in the room, and free Wi-Fi. You don't need to go to the lobby to get water; they refill 2 bottles in the room every day. The air conditioning works well, and if you request room cleaning, they do it every morning between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. I missed cleaning on days when I woke up later due to jet lag, but they did it when I asked separately. The bedding was very comfortable. In the room, you can charge your devices via USB without needing an adapter. I can't remember the type C, but there was probably at least one. Maybe because it's a new building or maybe I was just lucky, but there were no major technical issues in the room. The hotel's location is just a short walk away from the Javits Center, and on the opposite side is a good location for moving to the center of Manhattan. The surrounding area is safe during the day. You just need to avoid late-night hours wherever you go. Noise... there was only a cafe with live music in front of the hotel on weekend evenings, but the cafe quieted down before midnight. Also, I knew that in the center of New York, you often hear fire truck sirens at night, so even when I heard the sirens at night, it wasn't particularly bothersome. I'm not sure about noise from neighboring rooms or between floors; maybe the room was empty or there were quiet people. I had all my meals outside, so I don't know about breakfast here, and I'm not sure if there is room service. There's a salad place next to the hotel bar, and I highly recommend it; I ate there every day. A deposit of $100 is required, but they said they would return it within a week after check-out if there were no issues. Honestly, even after looking at the invoice, as a foreigner, I don't really understand what was charged, what it was for, or if the refund was correct, but as someone who doesn't need to use the parking lot, it seems that things like resort fees that many worry about when booking a U.S. hotel don't have a big impact on the final price. So, if the final cost is not exactly the same as the initial booking cost, and there are additional costs to consider, I think I can just accept it. However, if you bring a car, there may be additional charges. This hotel is suitable for those who want to rest comfortably at night in a clean facility near the subway and spend the whole day out. It's been a long time since I've been to New York, so I was worried, but the desk staff named ZIANA was very kind. She was really helpful. The staff I met in the hallway were all friendly. I would like to stay here again if I have the chance.
