The nice smile of the man behind the reception (whose name I unfortunately no longer remember). The biggest plus was the air conditioning. After the heatwave at the end of June, I suffered from heatstroke. Upon arrival at the apartment I had booked earlier, there was no proper air conditioning and sometimes only fans in the other rooms. I thought I was going to pass out. I had stopped sweating and was worried about my health. There you are abroad and what should have been a nice long weekend away.

Pleasantly surprised by how lovely the hotel was and great for visiting the O2

Proximity to the O2 was brilliant, it only took us 12 mins to get there and the tube station is directly opposite the hotel. The hotel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff on reception were lovely and bar / dining area was relaxed and designed very well. The whole look of the hotel was more boutique hotel than premier inn style which I was expecting. The bathroom was lovely, new and clean.
